Fellowships and scholarships from Indian and multinational agencies, as well as private donors, are available for meritorious students in the BS (Research) programme. Details are provided below.

Supporting undergraduate women to augment the gender ratio in science and research.
Mallika Women in Science Fellowships
Encouraging and supporting women pursuing careers in science and engineering.
Prof J Nagaraju Memorial Fellowship
Instituted in memory of Prof J Nagaraju to support deserving women undergraduate students.
IISc 1975 BE EECS Batch Fellowships
Established by the 1975 BE EECS batch alumni to support current undergraduate students.
Hallimysore Hirannaiah & Subbalakshamma Fellowships
Established by Satya H Narayana and Pankaja Narayana for students in the UG program.
Jayalakshmi & Venkataramanachar Fellowship
Supporting women students in the Bachelor of Science (Research) program.
Vasant Natarajan UG Fellowships
Instituted by the family of Dr Vasant Natarajan for Undergraduate and Physics students.
Chamarahalli Ramachandra & Kamala Iyer Fellowship
For deserving students in the 5th year of their integrated B.Sc-M.Sc programme.
The Indian Institute of Science Promotional Fellowship (IIScP) will be discontinued for students admitted from the Academic Year 2026–27 onwards. This change will not affect students already admitted under the existing scheme.
